Bruce L. Schneider, 83, of Ludington, recently passed away.
Bruce was born on June 18, 1934 in Ludington, the son of Daniel and Genevieve (Anderson) Schneider. He was a proud member of the United States Air Force, specializing in jet mechanics. Bruce was a master millwright for Dow Chemical, retiring after 35 years of dedicated service. On February 7, 1959, he was wed to Helen Luskin and raised three children. Bruce was a kind and loving man who was a gifted master tradesman; he could fix anything! He had a way of making people feel special, accepted and loved. Bruce enjoyed golfing and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who completed his circle of life.
Bruce is survived by his children, James (Alona) Schneider, Timothy Schneider, and Deborah (Dennis) Moore; grandchildren, Megan, Regina, Jeffrey, Gregory, and Matthew Schneider, and Nicholas and Nathan Moore; and great grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Madden, and Adeline Schneider.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Genevieve Schneider; and his wife, Helen Schneider.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, Aug 28, 2017 at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning at 12 noon at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington. Memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
