Condolences

Condolence From: Mary and Rob Burden
Condolence: On this one year anniversary, we have been remembering Clare and his big heart for children. He, for years, donated hundreds of dollars of candy for the Ludington Area Jaycees Children and Pet Parade goody bags. He recruited Brenda at Brenda's Cafe to donate the bags. This year, Brenda donated bags and thousands of suckers. She wanted to keep Clare's desire for children to have a memorable childhood going.
Thinking of Clare's family during this time. You are also in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: My condolences to Clare's Family. I am just now finding out about Clare's passing. Although Clare was a second cousin I wish I would have known sooner as I would have sent a sympathy card. May the Holy Spirit give you strength during this difficult time.

Condolence: Clare and I have been friends from Cadillac to Scottville. We went to school together, he was a few years younger but we were great friends. We worked together at the Northwood Inn in Cadillac. I moved to Ludington, he moved to the Bear Lake area and then Scottville and we have remained great friends. We went to the same auctions. He always made me laugh. I would "coon" from his garden as often as I could. He would even call me to let me know when stuff was ready to be picked. He helped me out so much when we did Toys for Tots. Biggest heart in the world.
I am missing him so much already.
Cheryl, I am so sorry, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence: Cheryl, I'm so sorry for your loss. May God comfort you and your family in a special way in the days and weeks ahead. Clare was my "West Parking Lot Dude"...for years I saw him between jobs or over the lunch hour taking his break in this parking lot in Scottville. Clare always had a moment to share a smile and something positive with me. He would share 'good' about the weather when it was absolutely freezing. And he shared hope when the country seemed to be going crazy before the last election. He just was an encourager every time we met. I loved that built-in aspect in him and he will be missed dearly in my comings and goings from my office.

Condolence: I knew Clare from Charter and he always made everyone laugh and smile. When he came to his customer house's to installed cable he always make sure that he gives his customers 100% service. and when he see that someone is having a bad day he tells them that. Tomorrow is always fresh with no mistakes in it. and it is going to be a brighter day. My thoughts and prays are with the family and friends. My husband Paul and I will miss him. Clare will never be forgotten.

Condolence: I knew Claire for 42 years. I was a new kid at Cadillac in 74. He was one who was nice to me and got me past the "new kid in school". we became friends. We tipped a few beers together throughout the years. Sometimes I drove or he did, but we made sure many got home in one piece. His customer service was second to none. He could take a distraught customer or someone and turn their day into a happy one. He will be missed. Be seeing you my friend one day.
