Obituary for Floy Jean Fralick

Floy Jean Fralick
Floy Jean Fralick, 64, of Ludington, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 while gazing into the stars during a family camping trip.

Floy was born on January 3, 1953 in Niles, the daughter of Floyd and Leona (Johnson) Robbins. She graduated from Niles High School and moved to Ludington for tree service work. Floy enjoyed working in hospitality, sharing her daily joy with new customers who quickly became friends. Over the years, she worked for Y’all Come Back, The Pantry, Dell’s, EZ Mart, and most recently was a hostess at Brenda’s Harbor Café. Floy volunteered her time at Region 4 Women’s Shelter (COVE) and spent her days watching her grandchildren, walking her best furry-friend, Angie, and camping. Floy was a good woman and a great listener. She was often the problem solver of the family.

Floy is survived by her partner in life of 42 years, Ronnie Proud; father, Floyd Robbins; children, Paula (Rob Hakanson) Lange and Tonia (Jeff Gier) Fralick; siblings, Richard (Laura) Robbins, Raymond (Lafo) Robbins, and Kim (Steve) Gagnier; grandchildren, Cassie (Casey) Newman, John Lange, Quentin Lange, Phoenix Lange, Jasmine Lange, Colton Lange, and Ashlyn Wilson; great grandchildren, Carter Newman and Collins Newman; and her Standard Poodle, Angie.

Preceding Floy in death are her mother, Leona Robbins; and grandchildren, Cody Lange and Tori Smolka.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington, with visitation starting at 10:00 am. A luncheon will be held at Brenda’s Harbor Café directly following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, attn: Paula Lange or Tonia Fralick.

Please share your fond memories of Floy at www.OakGroveFH.com.

Arrangements were entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Ludington.
