The first time I met the Malliet family was at Christmas of 1963 at Fred and Lowells parents home. I remember this as if was the first time I had ever seen the Nutcracker Ballet on television and I fell in love with ballerinas. Freds brother Lowell had married my Mom and Step Dad that previous August. As I grew up in Ludington, anytime and everytime I saw Mr. Malliet (Fred) he had the biggest smile and joyous attitude and he always seemed so happy to see anyone he knew. The world is definately a sadder place without his radiant smile and personality. My sincerest condolences to his entire family.
