Obituary for Anna Lois Bastion

Anna Lois Bastion, age 73, of Manistee, Michigan, passed away April 23, 2017 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital.
Anna was born September 26, 1943 in Lapeer, Michigan, the daughter of Claude Ross, Sr. and Corlie (Childers) Ross. Anna attended Lapeer High School in Lapeer, MI. On December 2, 1977, Anna married Thomas Bastion at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She worked as a Medical Administrator for 20 years at McLaren Regional Hospital in Lapeer, retiring in 1980. She was an active member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, especially the Outreach Through Quilting. Anna enjoyed snowmobiling, quilting, scrapbooking, traveling, baking, her grandkids and the outdoors.
Survivors include her husband Thomas, son Doc (Michelle) Street of Dryden, MI, stepdaughter Wendy (Dan) Asquino of Plymouth, MA, daughter Denise (Lee) Grotzinger of Sedalia, MO, stepson Brad (Jennifer) Bastion of Powder Springs, GA, grandchildren; Mike Street, Andy Ellis, Heather Sayers, Jessica Cox, Mitchel Bastion, Nicole Asquino , Allison Asquino, Maureen Bastion, & Raymond Asquino, 5 great-grandchildren, brother Claude (Betty) Ross, Jr. and half-sister Geneva Carpenter.
Anna was preceded in death by her son Mike Street and by many of her siblings.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11:00AM at Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manistee, MI with Pastor Kevin McClain officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00AM until time of service.
