Obituary for Mary Ann Gonzalez

Mary Ann Gonzalez, 43, of Ludington, passed away on March 22, 2017.

Mary was born on October 19, 1973 in Ludington, daughter of Carl and Carol Griffin. She was a CNA at Tendercare and a general manager at Mancinos in Pentwater. Mary coached the Ludington girls high school bowling team and was on a Couples league and a Women’s league. She enjoyed softball and road trips to Mexico with her husband. Mary was a caring woman who would put others’ needs before her own. She was a “mom” to many and a great teacher and leader.

Mary is survived by her husband, Francisco Gonzales; children, Tiffani Gilbert, Dylan (Michelle Parzych) Gilbert, and Jordan (Felicia) Gilbert; father, Carl Griffin; 2 grandchildren on the way; many nieces and nephews; and 3 Godchildren, Alex Covarrubias, Sabrina Ramirez, and Anastacio Ramirez.

Mary’s mother, Carol Griffin, preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Ludington, with visitation starting at 2:00 pm. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Apostolic Christian Tabernacle in Ludington. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
