Cinda Louise Brocker passed away on Monday, December 20, 2016 at her home in Scottville.
Cinda was born on July 29, 1951 in Flint, Michigan, daughter of Maynard and Twilla (Major) Tucker.
Cinda attended Big Rapids High School and graduated with the class of 1969. She married Billy Ray Brocker on August 3, 1969 in Reed City, Michigan. They were married for 35 wonderful years until his passing on April 12, 2005. Cinda spoke of the loss of her loving husband daily. She had been waiting for the day that they would meet again; resting together on angel’s wings.
Her hobbies included playing cards, bowling, reading and shopping at yard sales. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. For the last 11 years, Cinda was employed by Meijer.
She is survived by her daughter: Danielle (Joe) Luce, Scottville, Michigan; son: Jason Brocker, Ludington, Michigan; sisters: Carol (Lonnie) Carr, Yalaha, Florida; Wanda (John) Parker, Stanwood, Michigan; Johnna (Harold) Buchanan, Mio, Michigan; Tawse Matthes, Cadillac, Michigan; brother: Gordon (Donna) Matthes, Addison, Michigan and her mother Twilla Matthes, Cadillac, Michigan; granddaughters; Sarah, Elena, and Mackenzie Luce; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving co-workers and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband and her father.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life with a time of sharing will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 5:00 P.M. at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington. A visitation will begin one hour prior at 4:00 P.M. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Cinda’s family at 1641 W Chilberg Rd, Scottville, MI, 49454..
