Venus Colleen Bradford, Age 38 of Bear Lake passed away suddenly on May 26, 2016.
She was born in Traverse City on July 14, 1977 the daughter of the late Jon & Laura (Long) Bradford. Originally living in Thompsonville she moved to Bear Lake in her early years and was a graduate of Bear Lake High School.
Venus enjoyed camping; Healy Lake was the favorite family campground. She also liked flowers and planted an iris garden around her home. She was especially fond of her cats, and she would put out food for the strays in the area. Venus enjoyed children and often helped out in the nursery during church and assisted teaching Sunday School with her friend Tasha.
Venus is survived by her aunts and uncles and many cousins, and special friend Tasha. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Sid & Joanne Schroeder and Marlene Schlueter for all their help and support over the years.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; Arden and Helen Bradford and maternal grandparents; Charles and Ruth Long.
Memorial Services for Venus will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00AM with visitation at 10:00 AM until time of service at the Oak Grove Funeral Home and Cremation Center – Bear Lake Chapel with Pastor Clifford Gauld officiating. Interment will be in the Conway Cemetery.
