Obituary for Jude T. Ezdebski

Jude T. Ezdebski age 78 of Fountain passed away peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Oakview in Ludington.

Jude was born on October 25, 1937 in Ludington to the late John and Gertrude (Rockfal) Ezdebski. He attended St. Simon and St. Stanislaus schools.

Jude married Joan (Hogenson) Hartley on May 29, 1965 at St. Stanislaus in Ludington.

Jude was employed at the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for 30 years, retiring September 1, 2003. He was a faithful member of St. Mary’s of Custer. Jude had a love for HO railroad, hunting, fishing and cribbage boards.

He is survived by his wife Joan; daughters, Beth Norman and Ellie (Randy) Talsma; son, Jody (Linda) Hartley; twin sister, Judy (Nevin) Morton; sister, Germaine Kraft; granddaughters, Breland Keifer, Ashley (Paul) Ingiosi; grandsons, Michael Talsma, Kyle (Jess) Talsma, and Erik Hartley; great granddaughters, Kiera Hartley and Ava Ingiosi; brother-in-law, William (Marlyn) Hogenson; sister-in-law, Nancy Hogenson; also multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Katherine Aris.

Services for Jude will be at 1:00PM on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington with Father Mic Shriver officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation from 11AM until the time of service.
