Geraldine C. Zoulek, age 73 of Bear Lake and formerly of Grand Haven, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at her home.
She was born August 28, 1939 in Central Lake, Michigan the daughter of the late Oliver and Bessie H. (Gordon) McGuire. She attended Central Lake High School and Northwestern College in Traverse City. On June 6, 1959, she married Robert A. Zoulek in Elk Rapids; he preceded her in death on October 29, 1996.
She enjoyed quilting, canning and gardening.
Geraldine is survived by her children, Rose Ann (Andrew) Wroblewski, Ruth Arlene Zoulek, Robert Allen Zoulek, Jr., Randy (Kelly) Zoulek, Raymond (Lisa) Zoulek, Richard Andrew Zoulek, and Ronald (Candice) Zoulek; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Marion Courtier, Luanne (Ron) Hendricks, Noreen Loper; brother, Nathan (Barb) McGuire.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gordon McGuire, and sisters, Jackie Wiltse and Fern Powell.
Funeral services for Geraldine will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bear Lake. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery in Arcadia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 30 from 2 to 4 and 6-8 p.m.
